Default '72 Chevy-my c2 rebuild

Pretty much the same running gear:

fxr w/ccbec
holmes 45t handwound
metal geared trans-some kinda rrp/hr/topcrap mixture
front axle-xr mod/hand bros axle bracket/od/topcrap chubs&knuckles/hr locker/beef tubes
rear axle-ud/hr locker/(sic) steel lockouts/beef tubes
rc4wd steelies & UGC spacers
axial trepadors
savox 1283sg
bluebird bms35a winch servo & 10amp chinese esc for winch controller
Chuck.

New additions are the gcm pieces pretty much and the resulting setup revolving around it. Ok enough gum-bumpin...

And of course the required poser pic...

Gotta thank my good buddy Postclanker for the guidance while making the dropbed. Future additions will be front wheel wells, some scale goodies and a tasteful mounting system for the pullpal.

Well not much of an update. Just added a rear bumper.

Time for more d-rings too. Off to Holmes depot today for more material...

Looks good! I went with the Chevy for the rebuild myself. One thing I noticed was he weight of the Proline bodies are a lot heavier, it messed with my cog in combo with the taller Treps. Had to go back to the reliable Swampers.

Thank you sir! Yeah I feel you on the body weight, I didn't help matters with the shoe goo reinforcements either

The width of the trepadors is what I love. If the swampers work for you, and judging by last season I say they did, then don't fix what isn't broken.

See, pretty

But thanks man, that it does look better with the bumper. It's a bit more tucked than I like it though. The way I did the wheelbase and body mounting kinda screwed me in that dept. Wanted a 60/40 weight bias and 40/60 link measurements. The way everything lined up out front kinda fell into place (panhard mount & winch/steering servos) so it went from there.
