Default Patches the doved and exo'd yota

Snagged this up,

Original thread:
Greastermans Hilux "The OTA"

Here it is on 1.9 tsl XLs pretty sure I'm gonna run standard width scx axles with narrowed axe conversion thins should get it class 2 legal. I'll grab better pics when I get home. The tube work on this this is phenomenal.
Not to mention the damn paint. It's almost to pretty to run, almost

Maybe...

I was blown away by the tube work. I know in every thread you'll see the comments of how great the work is blah blah blah. This is, hands down some of the cleanest I've seen and the way the cage capture the body and secures to the frame is awesome

Awesome looking rig!!

Class 2??? Just got done reading through the rules for scale comps....pretty sure class 2 you cant have tires past either bumper. Could be wrong.

Prob gonna build another body to fit the tube work, then strip the powder coat and add panhard mounts and a few other things. I'm still on the road. Pics soon though

Ya class 2. Thang le of the pic is what's throwing off the look of the wheelbase. It also has an xr modded axle up front and a stock width in the rear. I haven't had the chance to really play with it yet.
The tires won't extend past the bumpers

Ok a few more pics you see the axle width comparison as the from is modded the rear is stock.

You also see the bitchin paint job as well as body work, like the rescribed hoodline after the dove work.

I also shot a pic of how the tube work is mated with hardware through the sliders and where the cage is split, but very cleanly done and unless you're looking, hard to notice

I can't take credit for the tube work, but there a guy in Australia that definitely does some clean work.

I was thinking the same thing, I tossed wraith axles under it and was thinking rear steer but it looked wrong being so wide.

Ah the Berglux!
I made that exo for Reece (the original owner) and fitted Berg diffs under it with the intentions of being a completely unique rig!
He got the body dovetailed and painted by another mate and gave me the body and kinda let me have a free run and do whatever i wanted with it. I spent hours on that thing and that was the first exo id built with that way of seperating the cage to allow the body to be unbolted.
Really keen to see what you end up doing with it! Keep the photos coming!!!!!!!

I couldn't remember your screen name
I will be keeping this updated as often as possible. Reece is a great guy.
And for your first exo, you set the bar high that's for damn sure
