Finally an update on ths thing, it runs now, still have to do the rest of the lights and a few other things but it's getting there. I used a Tekin fxr, Tekin 45t, Hitec 645 servo for now. Axles have Axial aluminum c-hubs and rear lock out's, VP high steer knuckles. Front has axial cvd's and I have a set of beeftube's to install. Also would like to get the OD gears for the front. The trans is a Hot Racing aluminum case with their steel gear set and the extended output for the rear, and MIP drivelines. I'll have pics up in a few. More to come...

Some more pics, I trimmed and installed a rear bumper I had laying around and cut the back of the body up a little higher to get the look I wanted. I used some old links as braces for the rear bumper as well as a mount for the spare. Front bumper is another one I had laying around. The light bar is a Proline 6 light that I cut down to a 5 light.

That looks sick! The rear bumper is perfect but the front needs something. Looks like it's unfinished. Great color!

Thanks Pyro, I have two other rigs with the same type of spare mount, just looks right to me.

Wow, thanks War Pig, it's a huge compliment to me to have guys like you and 62Pyro, who have seen it all, take the time to comment on my rig's. I agree, the front does look unfinished, I don't have the tools or skills to make my own steel bumpers so I guess I'll need someone to make one. I'd like to do something kind of pre runner style.

Thanks Bobby, that blue has some metallic in it, works well with all the curves in that body!

It's not as hard as some people make it sound.Best way to learn is by doing.

How did you trim out the bed and get the fenders to mount?

I just cut out the tailgate and a little of the bed floor with an Exacto knife and scissors. This was one of the full bodies back when they first came out (bed molded to cab), that's how the fenders are attached.

Unfortunately I don't have any more pictures. I sold the truck shortly after my last post two years ago.
