I picked this up from a friend by buying his whole RC collection. I've been putting in some work on it and have just enough to justify starting a thread. As I got it. The body mounts sucked, the shock mounts were hack, the links were falling apart and the rod ends were looser than a $2 whore. So I made new links, redid the shock towers and ditched the Bronco body. New shoes with CI foams. I also got rid of the Wraith droop kit on top of the already tall shock towers. Then I picked up a Spawn body and got to work on that. After a bunch of transparent orange, copper, transparent red, white, silver and gun metal I have this. I couldn't get my phone to pick up the real color in the garage though.. |

Started a bumper last night. I'm teaching myself to TIG so it took a while but it looks decent enough. This was before I trimmed the driver side a little more. I also rigged up a body mount system I really like. The aluminum angle slides in and out on the rock slider mounts but once the Velcro is attached it stays put. |
