Default Exocaged samurai replica

Decided to built a scaler version of my fullscale samurai. I was able to pick up a chassis from a buddy as a good start. Ill let the pictures so the talking for a minute.

Thanks for sharing, I'm thinking about grabbing one of those bodies to cut up similar.

How much do those axles stick out from the body? I assume they are 10.2 axles or aftermarket 10.2 axles.

I'm also curious what wheelbase you ended up with?

The axles are d60 scx10 aftermarket housings i just ordered a set of trx4 aport axles for it though as the pumpkins are huge right now and the turning radius is not near as sharp as my trx4. Im also adding a servo winch and new beadlocks and proline xl 1.9 swampers

Got the portals in and beadlocks mounted its getting late so ill have to hook up electronics and the winch tomorrow

Needs some shock tuning and i need to put the brass portal housings on the front i think im going to run my stock trx4 shocks on it for mow id like to go lower but i really cant do the clearance issues

Got out and did a lot of testing its very fun to run and works great! Definitely a lot harder to run with such a short wheel base and being as top heavy as it is

Well im waiting on more brass for the front of the samurai along with my front overdrive gears and ci dual stage foams to show up i think im going to start working on the class 1 yj
