Default taco to the rescue

Figured its time to start a thread that i could actually show an ALMOST finished truck in.cant really call it a rescue truck with no winch but i wanted something that would be running around helping guys out at a 1:1 park.

About a year ago, maybe even more, this pictured surfaced here in the cool pic's thread or one of those.

I absolutely loved it!!! Ive been wanting a leaf sprung rig for a while now so i hit up the rpp salvage yard and picked up this rc4wd trail stomper chassis.

Then from there on i started building, but only having the one pic of the truck,i thought it was a leaf spring rear and coils up front,so i just used an scx skid plate so i could use the links for the front.

but the scx skid plate was just a tad too wide(i know i could have shaved the frame or the skid) so i built drop plates for the skid.i also had to make plates for the axle to fit the leaf spri gs
(Not the best pic)

after that i had a roller and just had to make little plates here and there for mounting electronics and what not,and also built some inner fenders

After that was the interior;which is held in with
just a couple body posts and clips and the dash was just 2 pieces of styrene glued together

(You can see the posts next to the skid plates in this pic)

Then tycoonman came up with the practihaul trailers that were a perfect match for the adventure trailer that was used on the 1:1 so i snatched one of those up and built just a flat cover (my styrene skills suck ) and made some hinge's

It still needs bumpers and id like to build some sliders since the skid plates are right there.

But enough blabbin,here it is

Flex shot

If there's anymore info wanted just ask.i know my pic's suck, but i dont have a nice camera so this is all i can do for now.
SPEC'S
Rc4wd trail stomper chassis with cms built in.

axial axles with coil springs up front and leafs in the rear.front axle has axial universals, aluminum chub's and knuckles

For power its just a novak goat 2s running on tiny 2s batteries.

Rolling stock is rc4wd steelies and rc4wd rok lox

Coils up front with home made panhard bar and leafs out back
LAST THING!!!!! A BIG THANKS TO TCS CRAWLERS FOR THE GIVEAWAY
I won these

but bought some stuff to go with them
