Default Loaner truck build

In an attempt to re-gain a presence here on the board, and have a spare rig for friends to use, I figured another build would be in order. Recently, I have had a couple good friends express interest in getting into RC Crawling. What better way to set the hook, then building a spare/cheap parts rig?

A good portion of the parts I had laying around, some I have traded stuff for, and some I used up some store credit at my LHS on. The last few necessary hop up parts will be hand me downs from my rig, to give me an excuse to put nicer stuff on

Of course this build will have several of my goodies on it to promote CreationFab, but ultimately its just to be a fun, low, nice driving budget truck to loan out to friends. Or use myself if my rig is down

Quick rundown of whats on the menu:

-Used SCX10 chassis rails with new skid, cross braces, and shock towers
-All custom length links made of 6061 hard anodized aluminum links
-3 link front with panhard, 4 link rear
-AE2 ESC, Stock axial servo, CCBEC, and Axial 2.4ghz rx/tx, bastard 16t crawlmaster motor
-Low stance with comp truck stule SCX10 shocks
-Stocker wheels and tires for now
-Stock rear axle with under drive gears
-Stock front axle with axial chubs, VP 0-Ack knuckles, and modded dogbone/cup shafts
-The old trans from my truck with all metal gears

Hopefully all the hours at work wont keep me from putting in a little time here and there on it

Stay tuned

Pretty good! It's real basic, and drives nice. She may go under the knife however to loan parts for a sporty haha
