Default Tamiya Blackfoot Crew Cab Truggy

So here is my first build thread.

I am someone that doesn't care to look like your neighbor when you show up to a comp or any other sort of get together. To start I had an original Tamiya Blackfoot body laying around that I had planned on using previously but ended up getting ditched for some reason. Also I had been doing a little research on truggy back half's and boom, the ideas started flowing. Unfortunately the standard cab wouldn't cover up the transmission in the scx10 chassis that I had bought for the project. As time passed i ended up gathering another Blackfoot body from one of the local guys and the crew cab build began.

As you can see from the holes in the hood that the new body was rough so i didn't feel too awful bad for cutting up 2 original bodies.

Once the bodies were roughly put together, the chassis was slid underneath and the transmission is no longer seen from the outside.

My next step for this project was to mount the body. So i figured i would tie in the rock slider with body mount.

So after mounting and throwing some wheels on it, here is were it was setting.

I did run into the problem of the tire rubbing the fender so i plan on taking care of that later on.

This is where the truggy is at now in its stages. I need to do a little more body work and paint for the cab while i still need to figure out what i want to do for a front bumper.

They are Boom Racing wheels that I had laying around. You can get them from Asiatees.com.
