Default K2-3S Landy build, done, with a video.

Got my chassis in the mail today, so i started building a 1.9 scaler.

Gonna use a Landy lid on it. Third time im building a chassis for that lid, and i`ve never ridden it First i mounted the lid on a XC, not satisfied i modified a HL-chassis, still not satisfied so i`m trying out a K2-3S chassis for it. Just hope i`m satisfied this time around..

K2-3S chassis
HL axles
R2 tranny
Stampede shocks and sliders
HL wheels

Some pics:

Not sure about the servo mount, thinking of relocating it a bit:

Tranny:

And a mock up pic with the body:

That's looking spot on with them wheels.

The steeing on the frame is a nice scale touch. I see that RC4WD tranny sits well inside the body.

Are you planning on running a stick or a custom battery pack

I`m planning to run a stock TLT battery, thats shorter then a stick pack. Think it will fit nicely betwen the tranny an servo. Just got to get my hands on one of these: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXGFW3&P=7 first..

I love scale rigs, and that one seems a bit more to scale than most. It looks more like a land rover on 33's instead of most that look like they're on 44" tires. Nice find.

Thanx.

I`m waiting for a set off narrowed and reduced Proline Dirt works: http://www.xtreme-rc-hobbies.net/1-9CrawlerTires.html and i really would like a set off these rims for it: http://rc4wdstore.com/product_info.p...roducts_id=493 but i gotta save up some $$ for them first..

Meenwhile i got me a new set off rims, but im having a hard time deciding if im gonna mount the tires with the letters facing in or out, guess i`ll end up mounting them with the letters showing:
