Default Sawback v4.0 Bronco

I had a blemish proline bronco body taunting me in my shop.. you know how it goes.. it sits looking at you funny, then daring you to do something with it that won't suck.. so after a few weeks looking at it, I got out the knife

First to come off was the roof...
Now that I was committed to this, I chopped it right in half to get the wheelbase back in correct proportion

A little fancy pants bonding later, it was back in one piece

Now we're rolling right along... I admit I'm a scale geek. I paint all my bodies on the outside and actually prefer lexan because of how it shows "damage".. I always use a copper backed in black inside..
If you do it this way, as you beat up the truck the outside color coat gets scratched away to reveal "rust"

Very cool build. Really like the new "blem" body work.

One step closer, all the interior parts are mounted.
Now to start the cage and lighting...
