Here are the rest of the pictures from the photo shoot the other day!

Here is how it sits race ready! Just need to swap the ends on the battery!

Decent shots of the 60's

And when you don't want to wear out the stickies on the street, you swap to your street tires!

I finally got the race jeep out on the trails yesterday. Unfortunately the rear suspension is too soft and made the rig unpredictable, so some tuning tonight and gonna try it out again tomorrow. I added some droop springs in the shocks, as well as some limiting straps.

Limiting straps and springs in the shocks really helped this rig! Very stable! I think I may swap out the 27t motor for a 35T.

Found a soft spot in the creek and it just sank!

And the aftermath of the run today!

I swapped out the Krawlers and went with some 1.7 MTRs with fancy eBay wheels. I added some scale hardware to them as well.

I haven’t done much else, but I did start another TJ, the new one is more of a DD/weekend wheeler

Normally I'm not a jeep guy. But I appreciate some killer fab work regardless of the rig it gets bolted/welded onto,

But this Jeep however. This thing's rather badass lookin'. Killer job bud!

Nice looking build! I'm glad this thread was brought back to life. I missed it the first time around.

I have had one of these bodies on my shelf for about 15 years now and have always thought about mounting on my OG SCX10, but wasn't really sure where to start cutting. I had originally bought this RTR for my daughter when she was little and she never really got into it, so it is still like new.

This thread should give me the motivation I've been needing to start mine.

Thanks for sharing!

Sorry i missed this. It was thin gauge aluminum that I cut with a Dremel.

The Jeep is back in the shop for updates. Switching to ar44 axles, changes to the cage, and a new color!
