Default Brazin builds a c2 ascender on a diet

This is just the beginning of this build, and it may be a slow one so bare with me.

So I started where every other build starts, the chassis

That's only half of the chassis
We can do much better than that so...
I did a little of this

And came up with this (spy shot)

Much better. Quick mock up in short wheelbase with random electronics, pigsnot rear bumper and cantilever rear suspension brings us here

I think that is enough for the day... Back to the CNC machine I go.

Decided to go with the jconcepts bronco body, ditched the cantilever in the rear and installed some gmade shocks. Still unsure if I will use these shocks or not.

Got a little done today, decided where I was going to mount the battery and chopped up a piece of carbon fiber to mount it.

Swapped out the wheels to a set of glue on and a set of 1.7 iroks with CI foams.

Started painting the body as well.

Here is how much she weighs now, fully rtr minus body and one chassis cross brace at rear.
