Gelande II D90 Build, questions.

Just finished the chassis build, very nice. I give it a 9.5/10
Fit and finish was top notch. Only exceptions being one of the front links was not threaded correctly and the front wheels do not line up with the fender openings' they are back just a bit. I think I can lengthen the lower links to move the front axle forward. I hope.

Also, as far as I can tell it's full ball bearing! Nowhere did I see that stated so I had ordered a sealed bearing kit. :shrug:

I read a few post on the interwebs that said "the RC4WD screws strip easily". I did not have this issue at all.

But a couple pointers for anyone else reading this:
1. *never* use a ball-end hex wrench to tighten.
2. You can usually use a correct sized torx if the Allen head has stripped.

I'll start the body next. It's not as impressive as the chassis, I give it a 7/10.
The molding is a bit distorted, the roof will need some filling/sanding and there is quite a bit of flashing to trim. I'll qualify my rating by saying I'm used to Tamiya quality so I might be judging on a different scale.

I'm thinking about making the hood operational. I haven't seen anyone do this but I'm sure they have.

Another build tip on the Gelande II:
make sure you disassemble, clean and reassemble the slipper if you want it to work. The plates had bonded on mine.
