Default Porkchops 1st try.

Hi everyone Ive been wanting to take my scx10 to a new level and have finally had the balls to try out this whole brazing deal. Keep in mind this is my first attempt so dont criticise me too harshly. My truck is based off the 4dr jk but after a week my body was trashed and lucky for me my son had an old radio shack truck with the same body as the clod buster. I ran the whole body for a year or so but sadly the bed cracked pretty badly and the grill and front fenders as well. The truck sat for a year while i became preoccupied with life, now im back and im jumping back on the wagon. I recently picked up a savox mg servo, a couple lipos and a HR trans. Christmas eve i went shopping for my self and came home with what i thought was enough supplies to build me a neat little crawler.

Looks like you got a handle on it. All I can offer for advice is make sure the pieces you are brazing are clean and fit well, you can get away with a bit less brazing rod. Your rig looks really cool, nice work!

I know how to write i just got big fingers and a small phone. Anyways i took her out on her maiden voyage and ran 2 pack through her i made my panhard set up in 20 minutes so its not my final draft, the angles off but it did ok. Found out that she is extremely top heavy and need to add wheel weights in my wheels or redo my whole back half. Im happy with what she is so far but i can tell i have a long ways to go.

Hey guys quick question i put hr links on my truck, 112mm front and 122mm on the rear are all the links supposed to be the same size on each side because my front end is tilted foward a good bit to the point of when i turn my wheels they tilt and im losing my turning radius.

The panhard bar and drag link need to be at the same angle while at rest and be the same length.
Looks good otherwise!

I might raise one end of the panhard

Thanks elsewhere, i know i have to get the angle right on the panhard im just trying to figure out how. I have the chassis side as high as i can go and the axle side as low as i can go. Ive thought about trying to find a longer servo arm but im afraid it'll hit the axle under articulation.
