Default Ballistic17's Cbercfab 70 Gmc

This will be my new C2 rig for 2018. I will be using a Cbercfab Switchblade chassis with a cantilever setup in the rear. I will be using the drivetrain out of the Scx10.2 and whatever else I can from it. The body will be a 3d printed 70 Gmc pickup. The design came from DCH Custom 3d printing and designing. Powershift Rc Technologies will be doing the printing and lighting. Also planning on doing a full interior.

the model shown is a 69-72 front end clip, 67-68 looked a wee bit different. ( see pic) Nice 3D model, none the less. One of my all time favorite 1:1 truck bodies.

How's the weight of that front end? It looks thick but I sure do like it so far.

It's not actually that thick. The infill is a bigger cross hatch pattern. Will check on the weight.

Thanks. Gonna be a slow build. Once the body is done it will get painted from a friend that works at a body shop. Will need to build some bumpers and sliders also.

Not yet. After the front clip finished one of the printers went down. Had to use the one we were using for the body to fill orders. Hopefully soon we will start again

Did a little mock up with the chassis. Not sure I want to start tearing down the Xj yet with 2 comps left in out season.
