Default ColquittCustom's old Too.Much.Awesome toyota Redone!

Hey you guys! Here to share my version of ColquittCustom's old toyota '4runner style' beater he began back in '06...Always loved the originality and I'm sure most members remember the banner....

Original build thread...(Updated Pictures Tma Completed!!)?

Started out with an ebay find, an old original bruiser parts lot with most of the important pieces...the body and chassis. Everything else will be replaced So here we are, little over a year and a half and it's just about finished. I owe the fab work to MG200 here on RCC...he does amazing work as you can see.

Beginning stages...

Couple inspiration photos...thanks to 1BadJeepBruiser I found some ideas for the front bumper (Chino Clone) and paint (1BJB's 1.1 4runner).

So now the rig I built...wanted to keep it a mix of old school and new so the body and chassis are all original and it also rocks an old stampede trans! lol

Chino springs
Chino skid (originally drilled for 'pede trans)
Rc4wd original cnc machined yota axles (u-bolt kit)
Mix of Mip (rear) and Junfac (front) shafts
Traxxas trans (metal geared, HR lock diff)
CCHand interior dash kit (yeti cooler, rc4wd scale stuff)
N00b inner fenders, toyota emblems
Rc4wd Kong u-bolts
Reign CB antenna
Vanquish bully's 1.9 (silver rings, scale hubs)
Beef patties (aluminum rear, brass front)
TLT shocks turned down on a lathe
Still needs a winch

More to come! Lmk what you think!

It's like 2006 again! Cool. I wish it was. 31 is better than 42, as far as my body goes.

Looks pretty good.

The nostalgia, Rigs like these were what got me hooked on the hobby.

Still want to build myself an OG bruiser style build to pay homage to the boys at RCP crawlers who setup a crawler coarse at RCX '07 in pamona.

Looks Great MG200 and smm_cbf, well done!

I love scale crawlers that look exactly like their 1:1 counterpart. I'm in the process of building a GCM skeleton JK to mimic my full scale JK 2door
