Default Another FJ Cruiser insta-scale rig

Well when JIA posted the CC-01 under the FJ I had to get one. I had the body from the return pile at the local HS and scored it for $20 complete. I had it sitting on my pegboard wall till now.

The UPS guy showed up last night and so it began. About 3 hours later Voila!

I opted for the shorter WB so I had to cut the drive shaft but that was really nothing at all. I love the way the High Lift wheels look on the FJ. So happy I am getting some use of the High Lift I bought. The really nice thing about it is I bought it with an online $25 off coupon and it came to 149 shipped. The other bonus....it came with an ESC. Sweet!

JIA was right. If you want a quick really nice looking rig and fun to build this is it. The snakes and lizards were my sons touch and he says it makes it look more real.

Those CC-01's really do make for a good looking rig. I can't say I have ever seen one in action on the rocks though. i need to see a vid of one I guess. Thumbs up to your son on the snakes and lizards!

Nice scaler.

Looks good, nice job! I really like mine and you'll be surprised how wel it crawls for what it is. JIA saw mine at the Georgia comp, he can tell you how they run witht he limited mods that mine has. Anyway, nice truck!

All the michigan crawlers saw how mine did in the first comp, with Nycrap shocks and 2.2 buggy racing tires, it did quite well considering the effort and money put into it, and the terrain. It ended up placing ahead of 2 Sw2s and a 2.2 clod.

I have a feeling there will be quiet a few of these FJ's popping up. Instead of jeeps it will be a caravan of FJ's

Looks Great!!

Here's a decent video of a Pajero body CC-01.
