I had that same mog. What I did with mine was use an xc chassis and a knight hauler middle axle. It worked pretty slick, I just moved the xc axle to the far back and used a modded jugg shaft to link it together. Probably a lot less work that way..lol.. Here is a pic with it sitting on my old 8x8 clod...

Sweet. I'll be watching this one along with the other million of threads. To many good builds going on right now. I also have a 6x6 in the works.

WOW, that looks great, so are you ready for my address again to sell me this truck? LOL, I'd pay top dollar for just that chassis as is right now. LMK if you ever want to sell it. Other wise keep up the good work!!!

I want each axle to operate independently. if they are connected to one leaf with a central pivoting point you run into a lot of problems with forced articulation, and the axle wanting to lift under power (uphill climbs mostly).

The current setup still needs some work but I think I have got it pretty close.

Nice way to mount your springs. Any pinion angle issues? looks like they are at a negative angle at ride height. How about putting the shackle to the rear and the hard mount to the front. Either way, I like it.;)

Yeah there is a slight angle on the rear axle, im going to machine some blocks to fix that, it wont take much. The setup still needs some work, not quite as smooth as I would like, and I need some shocks on there too. Thanks Dean!

I'd bring her for a weekend of crawling and camping. Is there any other answer to this question? NO!

Revised the rear suspension, got the driveshaft in, leaf blocks to level out the axles. Also got the front suspension done and started hacking the interior to get the body low enough.

My brother got a hold of the driver... picture says it all
