| JK Jeep tube frame with portals and rear steer
Thought I’d share a few pics of the latest build to come out of the Pricey’s Custom Crawlers garage. Specs on the car are Full brazed 3/16” tube frame chassis with custom SCX10 style skid. Diffs.... Ottsix housings, under/overs, Hulksta smash plates, VP VVD’s and Shapeways portals with the 2.3:1 reduction Trans... SCX10 with Robinson Racing gears, VP dig. Junfac shafts provide the drive. Links and Shocks Custom built by myself using 4mm titanium and revo ends everywhere. Shocks are de anodized and smoothed bodied China Kings (surprisingly a good shock for the money if setup properly) and working in 3/4 droop and 100 weight oil using both inner and outer springs. Electrics are to be decided. Alloy panels finish it off nicely. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Last edited by 1tuff40; 05-21-2018 at 09:24 AM. |

Really enjoyed this build! And knowing it was for a good buddy of mine I know I’ll be able to wheel it when we head out. Anyway, more pics jpg[/IMG] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Slight clearance difference to my old 40 The chassis itself is fairly light, not even a pound. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Great work Pricey as usual. You know my feelings on this truck.... we all hate Wilko now. There’s so much win on this truck. Portals,dig,4ws,tuber perfect 1.9 rig. |
