Finally! Something new for me! An actual hardbody build. I decided that I’d start with an Axial SCX10 II Raw Builders Kit. Because why not? First, the body was painted by me quite a while ago. Then started with the buildup of the chassis and axles. Gotta get a little flex. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Alright another update- I was fortunate to get my hands on the SSD PRO44 axle housings and they are AWESOME!!! So let’s get to the photos! Then I remembered I had some nice scale bolts perfect for the diff cover... Before- After- That’ll be my last update until I get my SSD SCX10 scale transmission which has been ordered. Hopefully I’ll have this thing driving soon! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Update!!!! I finally got my transmission and installed it into the truck. After that I figured out a battery “tray” for the back of it so the battery cleared the interior. I also got the incision driveshafts which are butter smooth. I’ve also noticed that the transmission has a super low gear ratio and is smooth also. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Yet another update. This thing has sat in pieces with no paint on the body for a while so I decided to do it over. It is basically the same with a few minor changes. Had to do custom mirrors for it Added my RC4WD winch to the front And finally switched to more of a flat paint Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

My brother has a 1:1 one of these and I have been wanting to replicate it in 1:10. This looks amazing with the rc4wd body. How does that hard body handle on a short wheel base, and what is the wheel base you went with? Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk |

It does pretty good with the wheelbase it has. I’m not sure what exactly it is because it was a custom fit but I believe it was somewhere around 9.5 or 10 inches Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Beautiful truck! I much prefer the shiny, retro slot wheels on this truck.
