Default Jeep willys revival

I recently pick up this g-made sawback to go along with my jeep collection I paid $130 Australia dollars for this bad boy and I plan on do some simple mods a new body

I have already done a few small changes i added some stock axial wheels and tyres until my wheels arrive so I can run my pitbull rock beasts
The plan is to make a civilian style jeep some one found in a barn and has added a few new goodies to


(If you have any tips or tricks to do with the sawback or leaf spring let me know never had a leaf sprung truck before

That's a couple of good pics, looks like you have a fun little project ahead. As for the leaf springs, here's a link to some helpful info from Matt. The link deals mostly with the trailfinder but I'm sure you'd see many similarities.

Yeah thanks man i have seen this i think the previous owner did some of these mods already although I couldn't tell haha

Got the body and roll bars in today mounted all the hard plastic pieces and the roll bar still waiting on wheels tyres and shocks tho

Painted the new body and put on some scx10iii wheels and tyres for now

New wheel look great and it performs well unfortunately I snapped a axle yesterday so ill have to wait a fair while before driving it again
