Default Yet another FJ cruiser. MORE PICS UP!

This is one I've been working on for a little while. I got to drive it today in the snow, and it worked much better than I expected. It gripped fairly well, and wasn't overly top heavy. It is still a work in progress, which is why it looks a little rough. I still need to do a fair amount of work on it to get it completely done (is a truck ever really done?) but I threw it together for the gtg for today.
Here's what it sports:
Cut and modified bruiser frame
TLT axles
Pede tranny
TLT shocks
Cut 'n shut 'n sectioned 1.9 Claw Dawgs
HPI stock car wheels
Chassis mounted servo
4-link rear 3-link with panhard in the front
Revolver and Mamba25 (will be switched with 45t lathe and waterproof esc)
Delrin Chassis braces/skid

In the future, it will have:
Turned down TLT shocks with rc18 springs
Full lights
Rock rings
Custom steel bumpers
Winch
Spare tire
Rock sliders
Wheel wells
More scale goodies included tow straps and tools

LMK what you guys think. I know there has been a plethora (cool word, eh?) of FJ cruiser bodies rigs, but this one I think is a little different. If you want the full build up, check here. Feel free to ask any questions/offer any (constructive) critisism. If you guys need more pics, let me know and I'll get some.

Those cut dogs are awesome, someone needs to sell them pre-cut for us that have no skills. (Or that are lazy)

This truck ran REAL nice yesterday the 3 link came out nice too... The small tires worked better in the snow than my 6x6 with mashers or the txt with all-t's..... I was shocked about how capable it really was....

And as for moving the rear tires back... at compression it sits centered... If the tires wre moved back it would rub on the rear part of the fender instead of tucking in.

My short arm lifted Grand Cherokee 1:1 works exactly like that...
Wheels are forward just like this FJ at ride height too.

I went for a short little run in the fresh powder this evening. It did extremely well for having such small tires. The only problem is the front axle acts like a snowplow whenever it does get a little deep. The taillights are way bright; I may need to change them out for some dimmer units. BTW, the braces/skid is white delrin. I'd like to eventually switch it out for some black delrin, but for now, it stays. As S-Dog mentioned. When the suspension compresses, the wheels line up perfectly.

Double the ohm value of the resistor for the rear leds and see how that looks.

Stock plastic one will probably be reused for the back, and a custom steel one in the front if everything goes to plan.

I did some work on the rack the other day. I CA'd some Gutter mesh onto the rails, and today I will paint it black to make it match.

I got the rack all painted and installed on the truck. I'm not sure how long the paint will last, but we can always touch it up when we need to.
