well i decided to run this truck without leafs. so i drew up the rear links today. i need to cut them out and try them now

Here you go, the pointy end attaches to the chassis with bushings on it, and the other end attaches to the axle at two points.

well i got around and made a new chassis. i think this one will work out just great. i'm going to 4 link the whole truck , maybe ;) don't know if i should run leafs in the front. here's a couple more pics

hey unimog , i have a chassis similar to this one shown if you want it. the center of the frame is not as low as this one shown

how does the radius arm pivot in the front if it is attached at 1 points up front. i see how the rear of the arm pivots but not the front.

defenders have coils front and rear. it then has a panhard rod and radius arms at the front. at the rear it has an A frame and trailing arms

it doesnt pivot on the axle, when lifted or when the suspension is flexing, the castor angle changes hope that helps.

although there was once a special that was only used in the military that was leaf because of it being easier to maintain and i saw it on tv on a programme called crafty tricks of war.

this picture shows the rear, it shows the top mounts for the A frame.


this shows the axle mount for the A frame on the right of the diff pan, this is upside down and also the diff pan isnt standard.


the sivler bit in this picture is of a trailing arm (rear by the way)


this is of the A frame set up
