| Trailing arms vs links?
Just curious as to what is the difference of using one vs the other. I’d suppose each one has its benefits and I wonder what those are. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Trailing arms are usually used in trophy trucks/prerunner type builds but can be found in crawler setups. You can gain a lot more travel with trailing arms but typically a stiffer rear end is desired in crawling. A rear sway bar does help achieve that feel when mated with a trailing arm setup (IE; Element Ecto).

Actually, truly there is 0 difference besides one is more square vs round. They do the same job. Travel is in the shock placement and angle. In rc though they split them up because they can more easily mount shocks and such to square style. So to keep is less confusing they stick with "links" for the normal set ups and "trailing arms" for the ones that they mount shocks and such like element gatekeeper/ecto.
