| Hard body attachment
Hey everyone, I'm doing my first hardbody, a Jeep XJ. I need an idea on mounting the body to the chassis. I kind of assumed it would attach to the chassis rails but doesn't seem so. Any help or tips are greatly appreciated! Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk |

From what I can tell it looks like you may have to remove the stock front bumper on the body or chassis for clearance. For the rear, just remove the 4 fasteners put the long end of the mount to the chassis rails, and the short end to the rear of the body. Make sense? Right side up pictures make a world of a difference. Try to capture the body mocked up on the chassis. Where do the installed mounts reach to on the chassis? You can always reinforce the hood and rear/sides and do inverted body mounts. You could probably even align with the shock towers.
