Default 1979 ford truck body

Has anyone seen a workable scale body that looks like a 1978 or 1979 for F150? I know there were several old trucks that had that style body just can't remember their names. any help would be great

Perhaps you're thinking about the Tamiya BlackFoot or the F-150 Ranger.

Default Black foot

Nope, the blackfoot is a early to mid 80s f150. I want a 78 0r 79. Sorry Clod you do not advance to the lightning round. Also how do I attach pictures to my posts? (newbie to site)

lol.....well when he paints it he can paint the headlights square. the early 70's ford trucks are better looking than the late 70's, but really its just round and square headlights and the body line sticking out or being indented.

1979 has trimming!
So just paint the trimming silver with some black and it will look more real!

Default thanks for the help.

alright boys,
First thatnks to all that dropped their two pennies into my project...

But biggest props to my new buddy the big Jat man. Not only is that what I want', but the thing is in the next county over from me. I hopefully can pick her up tomorrow or wendsday. I bought that RC and am gonna try to fit it to a TLT crawler I have right now. It will get the Tracer conversion and a few other little Ideas I have, sadly I am thinking she is going to be a 2.2 scale truck. feel free to IM me with Ideas on what to do to the body and other tips you wanna pass on. I hope to document the build on a thread but still having problems making pictures fit the max for the site. Please send me your Ideas, going for the big nasty backwoods look I think.

i think the body is probably too short for a tracer, i'd go with a K2-3s and a pede trans.

Default my bod man

the body is roughly 11.5 by 5 I am going to see what I can do to make her fit. Of course any Ideas you guys might have for stretching the wheelbase would be appreciated, cause if I bring home one more RC othe then a hi lift my wife is gonna leave me.
