| dieselfuel's highlift....well kinda.
its been in my sig for a few weeks, now its finally coming to life... i love the highlift/jugg bodies but hate the highlift.. so im building it the way i think it should be done... kinda. im using a reign rc products k2-4 chassis, diaz leaf springs, tlt axles with bearings. left the front end open for now. highlift tires on tamiya f-150 1.9 wheels. thats about it for now. it'll have a 55t axiom V10 crawler motor, a novak XRS esc and a TQ3 radio system. i got the suspension set up tonight, this leaf spring **** is crazy! 4-links are soo much easier... i actually had to go buy a dial caliper to mock everything up!! everything is just kinda mocked up right now, the steering box will be mounted higher, the WB will be stretched about 1/4". ive gotta do something about the shackle angle on the rear end. they cam over too easily, maybe bumpstops but thats kind of a halfass fix. figure out shock and steering mounting, choose a transmission, body mounting, paint, body assembly etc...... its far from finished. anyway how about some pics? i got the rear shocks and steer servo mounted last night. i wanted to mount the servo further forward but oh well, it'll be fine there. i still need to get a stealth trans for it and then that shows up, fab mounts for it. its gonna hang out the bottom like a real transfer case would, and it'll have a skid plate under it. and ive got to turn those shocks down still. or find some that are turned down already. anyway this is what ive gotten done so far.

Looks cool man! This probably a dumb question but, how come you mounted the axles upside down?
