| Remotely lockable diffs
I just got my High-Lift axels back from http://www.der-getriebedoktor.de/shop2/index.htm and went out for a quick testdrive last night, I'm still waiting on my Diaz leafs so its stiff like a board right now but that just makes it easier to test the diff-locks =) In the first clip my diffs are open in the start, when I get stuck I lock the diffs, drives on and open them again. I got stuck 3 times and just locked the diff and drove on. In the second clip my diffs are open on the first lap and closed on the 2 that follows. Its quite a diffrent in turning radius even thou I turn the same in all laps. http://hem.bredband.net/b377982/film1.avi http://hem.bredband.net/b377982/film2.avi Right click and save target as... That is cool. I can't read the site, but how much was the conversion and what was the turnaround time to send them and get them back? Thanks, Casey |

| It's 55€ a piece, thats ~$75, plus shipping, for me (inside EU) it was 20€, dunno what it will be from US. It took 3 weeks to get them back. If you have any questions just mail Kai and ask him his English is good, and he accepts paypal unlike many german dealers.

Those diffs seem fairly cool. I may check into them for my scale rig.

| Sorry, Thoorsen, Let me clarify, I don't want to deal with shipping my axles to Germany or with a German dealer. Also the vids don't show HOW the diffs work, they just show the truck using locking diffs. Snailmail, try right clicking the link and clicking "Save Target as". After you download them on to your computer, then click the file. |
