Default Folding mirrors on my High-Lift

Want folding mirrors? For all the scale nuts out there its real easy.

What happined was I rolled it and broke the mirrors so I decided to take some GreatPlanes hindges (I believe they were the 1/4" ones) and drilled out the parts on the mount and on the mirror almost flush with the edge and used CA to glue them in place. just like that had a set of folding mirrors.

sorry about not having a build up thread but I did this a while ago.

That is really cool, you beat me to it on the hinges. Others have used Heat Shrink Tubing and it looks cool as well.
As for scale, it is a little off because the mirror actually folds at the door/window mount and not out by the mirror. This is what I am working on as the mounts are different widths and you have to drill out the plastic mounts that hold the mirror in place. Because of this I may end up using actually 2 mirrors to make one scale functional mirror so it will pivot and lay flat much closer against the window.

Looks like you have a nice truck as well. I would like to see more pics of the Ford!

Keep up the GREAT Work!
