| internally sprung TLT shock?
has anyone ever tryed this? i like the scale looks of the turned down TLT shocks. but being 4 linked i need the spring, and dont care for the trouble of the captured spring setups. so my question. could i find the right spring and put it inside on top of the piston, so it basically rests on the top of the piston and the top of the shock cap? maybe a ball point pen spring (probly need two stacked?) or is there somewhere i can order springs of a certain diameter and length? has anyone ever tryed this? (high lift and RC4wd internal spring shocks are too big dia) |

pen springs would be no where near strong enough. you might be able to seal them really well and charge them with oil, i think a couple of people have done it.

StangkillaSS,see if your Radioshack has suspension upgrades for the Xmods which basically includes 4 Soft ,Medium,Hard springs and it's little cheaper than a whole Xmod.I believe the suspension kit is around $12-$15 instead of the $60 Xmod. |

if you find the springs arent hard enough then drop in 2 like you would in pen hopping challenge things too waste the time in school... it stiffens it right up and if you put in a heavier weight oilmthe reload shouldn't be as fast.
