BD, I think it will look better without the camper.
Is the 2 Speed R2 any good?

ahh, you went for the 2-speed. excellent, let me know how it is
the flat bed thingy kinda takes away the tow rig look, use the bed and mount the shell with magnets so its easily removable at your whim.

off topic but what rims are on that jeep? you got two of them that look like that, the green one and this one. what rims are those? also just run the truck bed by itself.

They are RC4WD 1.9 beadlocks painted flat black and the rings painted red. I gonna run the same wheels without the bead locks on the tow rig

Good idea the only problem might be that the magnets might pop off.
I have an idea:

Make a little mount for the magnets with four holes so you use screws or something to hold the magnets in place like this crappy drawing.
Yeah it's lame but you get the idea

I like the looks of the shell. Just don't take it up a 1.1 RTI ramp and loose it off the side. The end is not pretty
This happened at the Montana scale comp in Unimogers front yard. Go figure this is what happens when I'm screwing around

Keep the shell. After all its a tow rig so the driver will need a place to sleep when camping out on the rocks. It looks like you cornered the market on the 1.9 beadlocks! Both rigs are looking really good. Now all you have to do is finish one.

I bought a topper from 1BJB. I was taking it to the shop tripped and fell on it. I was picking up topper peices from everywhere. That is why I like the idea these guys gave me of making it removeable.

SpEd, if I don't use the flatbed would you be interested in it? It actually goes with your grill guard.

That seems to be a BIG problem I have. I usually end up getting rid of it before I finish. I just love the build anyway

I like the look of the2.2 wheels on the tow rig. It makes it look like all the show & go trucks running around nowadays with 22 inch rims and 40's. It really is gittin out of hand down here on the coast. These guys are building their trucks up and then they are afraid of gettin them dirty. It makes no sense to me!
