| DINKY R/C G-WAGON build
although most of the fab work is done, i figured it's high time to start a build thread. this will be a canadian military version(olive drab/flat black) just got the frame back from the bead-blaster, we'll be shooting it with etching primer, then semi-gloss black. i started this build brazing, but my good buddy DRAVEN let me borrow his mig thanks man!!! onto the pics... it won't sit quite this high, quick mock-up to check tire size, cut & shut proline dirt hawgs fresh from the blaster... |

| Introducing "MAX"
my new shop helper. he'll be assisting me with final assembly to speed things along. he even offered to work overtime AND nights so his brigade could make it to the recon mission on the 25th, later this month. so keep watching, updates will be frequent! looking a bit confused, he's never seen the frame... |

Great job Matt, the frame looks great. There is nothing else like scraping a hard body against the rocks, makes you never want to run a lexan body again.

Majorly jealous. I've had a painted drab G-Wagen I did a month ago or two just sitting there waiting on a chassis. If you need more pictures or help on painting it, I've got a bunch of pictures saved for reference. Looks great, Torque |

thanks for the props guys !!! these bodies can be found at wally-world, but good luck, they're kinda hard to find. onto the build... they were still on break... "oh crap, it's the boss! quick, look busy! " "first, lets get this motor& trans mounted up. " "hey MAX, where's this piece go? " " this is the servo / winch mount, just one more bolt and we can start mountin' electronics in this bad boy! " "sure glad the boss came in to help with the electronics, gettin' kinda late, thanks for all your help FLEX! " "no problem man, glad i could help. catch you on the flip-side dude " |
