Looks good. I think I like the tan much better than the orange. |

Well, I finally got a couple things done I've been meaning to finish forever. The quick and easy one was the rear Axial axle truss. I mounted the steering servo on the chassis a while ago but was not at all happy with it. With the 4 link it moved around way to much and wasn't very precise. I loved the way the Hands Bros steering kit worked on my SCX-10 so I figured that was the best way to go. I got lucky and Big Bear had just the axle mount part of the kit so I got that from him and mounted it to the axle. Then I just drilled and tapped the chassis rail and mounted the panhard bar. I love it now. Steering is super precise and strong again and there is no axle movement while steering. I'm happy again and it's ready for the UTRCRC Scale Adventure Finals |

After Kaetwo and PinchFlat switched their Toyotas to Rok Lox I figured I'd better play along. I put back on the RC4WD Steel Wheels. They have the exact identical offset to stock Axial SCX-10 1.9 Wheels, 9 1/8" with these tires. The spare I just got today. It's way too clean right now, I need to throw it in the dirt or something |

Oh, and BTW Badd, I think we need someone to change the title to Tube Bed or Flat Bed. This is definitely not a Truggy And after looking though some of the pictures on this thread the Flat Irons looks like little girl tires on this compared to the Rok Lox |

I think I am one of the few "I like the tan better" people as well those tires do look much more fitting. To think of how many people cried when we asked for a 1.9 that big... |

I think I wasn't liking the tan because of the wheel/tire/color combo. For some reason with the new wheels and tires I like it quite a bit more. I know that doesn't make sense but it's staying tan for now. | |
