Default Thinking about a scale

I am wanting to build a scale of my daily driver.

I am wanting to use this body from parma.

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXCZ54&P=7

But it looks like it will need a 10.5" wheel base. I am thinking about useing AX10 axle's and either a r2d tans or ax trans.

I am haveing a problem trying to figure out what chassis to use or just build my own. I have plenty of 1/8" plate alum. I looked at the X-trail but it has a 11" wheel base.
Does anybody have any sugestions. Because I have never built a scale truck and dont really know where to start. Other than the search which I have been and I am still doing their is a lot of info, but I am just looking for a little more.

Thanks

I would use the crawlerstore scale chassis

and for tires I would use proline dirt works #1072-00

if the wb is not exactly right you could trim the fenders for the proper wb

i would make the fender openings wider and it would look cool. from the pics those holes are small so some trimed ones would look just right but up to you. also what wheels and tires are you going to run? small or big

I do like that chassis but I think I want to go with the 1.9 tires because they equal to about a 35" tire which is what I have on my 1:1 truck. And as many holes as are in that chassis I should have no problem with the wheel base.

I think I am going to go the way of useing a lot of ax10 parts. I already have one scorpion that I have setup for 2.2 comp. Plus I have several extra ax10 parts so it will make the build a little cheaper.

The X-trail chassis has an adjustable wheelbase. It is easily adjustable from 11"-12.5"
