Default BWC Clod bodied scaler

Its been a long time since I have posted any build up what so ever, so today is a good day to start

What Im starting off with is a brand new clod body complete with bow tie grill and chevy tail-gate. (tailgate is pending with obijuan)

Im still waiting on the chassis as well but it should be here with in a couple weeks.

heres the current specs

1. bwc chassis with jugg leafs
2. TLT axles, bushings, MSD lockouts and ultimate C's
3. RC4WD r2 tranny with 12t pinion and 45t crawl-max brushed motor
4. pede drivelines with steel outputs
5. narrowed and reduced mashers
6. ESC. ballooned tr2?
7. high lift shackles, hangers etc.
8. full interior from a dale silverado
9. chrome tool box, filled hood, (need to fill in the sunroof)
10. Hitec 645mg
11. TLT rancho shocks
12. Tube work by JJ

As far as paint goes, I think its going to be gloss black with blue true flame airbrushed. My cousin is a crazy airbrusher

Sweet, another bwc clod build. Yours looks good, almost makes me want to work on mine. Keep up the good work.

its great to see someone ditch the huge void between the grille and bumper that the clod bodies have! it looks awesome! where can i find a bowtie grille though?

I got a few updates, I decided to ditch the bed and Im going to have a tube bed made, something along the lines of this one....



Ive also finished filling in the hood, and I have filled in the back behind the cab.

Today I made some rancho's, they came out pretty good, I turned them down on my belt sander, I also have 3 different sets of 1.9's, I have slingers, cut and shut m2k's, and cut and shut g-hawgs, so Im stumped with which ones I should use....

Here is how I mounted the bumper to the grill so tightly, I used a piece of a cutting board and drilled and tapped it so I could just use 4-40 screws, 3 for the grill and 2 for the bumper.

wish you would have brought that to the MSD shop today, would have looked nice with the fat dog tuber and the 8x8 on the workbench.

I would have liked to come over but Im getting over that cold that I dont need to give to you

I really cant start any real work till the chassis gets here, and JJ is going to whip me up some tube work....I got the sunroof filled in just a few minutes ago

i love the BWC scale chassis'. looks like you gotta good build goin on. run the slingers, they will look good on that build.
