Default Clod Blazer

I've gotten pretty jealous of the Clody body blazers on here, so I tried to give it a shot and this is the best I could come up with(I've never modified a body before). This is my new body for my blazer vision. It's not that great, but i'm proud. At first, it started out with the Proline blazer, which was perfect, but the Clodbuster body is much more to scale. The picture just doesn't do it justice so I will post clod build-up pics soon.

I know it's on backwards, I still have to fix that. I'm running Tamiya hummer wheels and stock Goodrich tires, still thinking if I should paint them silver or just leave them.

I agree. They look like a set of OEM Steelies. That is the look I'd like to have on my scaler. Did you remove the bolt heads from the hummer wheels. I have a set comin and might have to do this to them...

The outer bolt heads were shaved off. The paint scheme was inspired by Obijuan.

Is that sitting on a Hummer frame or something else.. I have been eyeballing the Tamiya JDF armored vehicle as a possible donor frame for a limited flex scale chassis....

It's sitting on a Tamiya XC chassis. I didn't take in-depth process pictures, but snaped them along the way. My new Christmas present makes my Blazer look a bit small now!

My favorite view.(I don't know why!)

Grrrrr!

Thanks for all the nice comments, and the mirrors are hand shaved from balsa wood.

I'm making a new cap for the blazer and touching up the hood and sunroof. It's been slow going getting the new cap on.I was also wondering if a navy blue/white paint scheme would look better, like the truck in the last pic.

Well I went ahead with the blue and white paint scheme and it didn't turn too bad. I also built a new front skid plate.
