| My 1.9 SS Chevy Truck Build
Well I was being pushed to build a 1.9er to trail ride with my buddys rover. Tossed this together once I got all the parts. SS Dale Earnhardt Chevy Truck body TLT axles, locked with ball studs, alum Cs and knuckles on the front axle As of right now 65t lathe, GD600 to a rc10gt trans acting as a tcase Cutting board chassis Some spare touring car shocks 645mg steering servo AC 1.9 beadlocks RC4wd Rock Stompers Novak Super Rooster And onto the pics. Here is an underside shot, you can see how I laid everything out. Ran the electronics into the bed so that they were out of the way. Fabbed up a quicky tool box with some markings on it to make it look like a weather guard tool box. Hinged top an all. And some wheeling pics from this weekend. And the money shot |

Looks good I have a similar truck, just without a tool box. Where do you put your battery though?

Nice build I like to see em full bodied kinda makes me wish I had not went with the truggy look. carefull with the acetone it will soften the plastic of the window I used 2000 grit sandpaper wet then buffed it back to a shine with auto scratch remover and a polishing cloth. |

LOL yep she was the only poseable figure I could find in 1/12 scale. She also steers when the wheels are turned via servo and gearbox in the dash. |

Heres a picture of where the battery sits on the frame. The body locks it down and keeps it from moving around. |

Since I built this Ive been wheeling the pee out of it. I havnt wheeled any of my other crawlers. Ive rolled it a bunch since all the weight it up high, Ive broken the tool box a few times. Mostly just knocking it around and some quick glueing and it was as good as new. Till yesterday. I took some good spills and cracked the top and then took a chip out of it. :-( So it was time for a cage or exo cage, but none of those would of looked good and protected the tool box. But a ladder rack would and it would fit the work truck theme. Also added some sliders while I was at it. |
