| Ugly Betty Truggy
Was out in the garage trying to figure out what I wanted to build. Remembered I had thought about making a truggy out of my Betty body. Hadn't seen one yet and thought it would look pretty cool. So I got a wild hair up my ass and became a tweeker for the night. I started on it Wedns. afternoon And just kept going through the night and before I knew it it was 4am! Pretty much got it finished. This is going to be a rock racer/sand basher/scaler. I stole all my parts off my other scaler to put this together. I also through in a 19T motor I had. This thing hauls ass! Going to take it out on the rocks tomorrow, or today, and see how the susp. geometery worked out. Well, on to the pics. Let me know what you think. |

SICK! I love it! I'm in the design phase of making something very, very similar out of a mint Bolink Dodge Power Wagon body. The only major difference is mine will have tube-and-sheetmetal fenders front fenders and aluminum bed-side panels. (but no floor or tailgate, just the bedsides, and those will be bobbed and dovetailed.)

| Yes I did. Every other one on the front 2. It helped alittle. I haven't ran them much though. They've been waiting for this chassis to get built. Perfect tires for a rock racer.

Thanks for the comps. I know. I almost threw it away when I got my bug body for my comp rig. Times like this I'm glad I'm a pack rat. Now I just need to trim the new one I have sitting here and figure out a color. |

Well, its been a couple weeks now. I kind of change direction on this rig once I found out it crawled better than my comp rig. This has now turned into my new comp rig. I'm still going to try and keep it as scale as I can. After running it for the past few weeks I've found the weak points in the chassis and beefed them up. Got the chassis and the new body painted up. Waiting on my 10T colbalt puller. On to the pics. |
