| Spare parts scaler
Well, I decided to do something with all the spare parts I had lying around. I scrounged up some Wheely King axles and a Axial transmisson and decided to get busy. I built the chassis out of scrap aluminum and some old Maxx chassis braces. I didn't have any extra wheels and tires so I chose some Proline DirtWorks on their beadlocks. I managed to strip out every screw on the beadlocks so I am going to tap each hole to 6-32. I will drill out the holes in the rings to accept the diameter of 6-32 socket head screws. I decided to go a differrent route and run a three link with a panhard-like setup. I get a little bit of lateral axle motion but not enough to influence handling. Let me know what you guys think. -Aaron- |

All of the linkages are temporary for now. I will make new ones out of 1/4" aluminum rod. I will be running a Jeep Rubicon body. It is plenty wide enough to make the axles look scale. I will have new pics up sometime soon.
