Default 2.2 F350 Truggy

Tamiya F350 Cab
Custom All Steel Tube Chassis
AX10 Transmission
AX10 Axles
MIP CVD Driveshafts
Axial Universal Set
TCS Rear Boomerang
TCS Battery Mounts
Losi 4" Shocks
RC4WD X10 Piggyback Shocks
Mamba Max Speedo
CC BEC
Towerpro MG946R
Custom Delrin Rock Rings

I had this chassis made by F250 and he did a very nice job indeed..! I am uncertain as of yet to what the paint scheme will be. I am thinking bottom silver-grey metallic with a Kawaski Green top. Split in the middle by a darker grey metallic or blue metallic. All will be vinyl of course wrapped 1:10 scale lol... Here are the pictures as of present time:

I gave him several pictures of the front bumper I was after. Basically he took what he liked from each one and came up with this:

This is what the chassis looks like as of present time:

The chassis is at the powdercoaters as I type this - To be continued later...

OK so I got the chassis back from the powdercoaters. He only has a large gun so he did spray a bit much of the clear on top hence the grayish hugh. You can also see the Herbie decal set for another 1:10 scale rock crawler bug body I am doing for some one via myspace. The news channel 10 decals are for a local guy who flies R/C helicopters and takes photos along with video for aerial surveillance, etc.

I have been away on vacation and came back to a lot of work at the shop (good thing..!) In any event I got some things mounted up with the exception to the bottom front links and front shocks. The losi's are just to wide to fit. I will use the RC4WD X10 piggy back shocks up front. Also I will need to buy new shoes as the stock axial's are just too tall and will hit the front bumper I am sure. I was thinking maybe the Proline Flatirons. I hate to have to buy all new rims and tires to go down to a 1.9 so I would like to stick to the 2.2 sizing...

Very cool. Any idea on what color the body will be? Also, what thickness of metal did you use to kame your front bumper?

No idea on color choices as of yet... I had the chassis fabbed up by F250, so I would ask him the thickness of the metal...
