Default Few scale questions (frame, axles, body..)

Well the whole comp thing isn't for me, and I want to convert my crawler into a scaler. I currently have a axial setup with a torsion chassis. I want to take this and make a scaler out of it. Here is what I am hoping you guys can help me out with:

What is the best aftermarket frame for these (preferably in steel if they make it so that I can weld to it)
Does nayone make a Flatfender body for the 1:10 scale rigs?
Are the axial axles fine for this, or should I be looking at other options?
Should I go brushless, or is a brushed motor just fine? Also what sized motor should I run on here?

I am in the build process of a 52 CJ3A for a 1:1, so I was hoping to "copy" this build in a scaler. I would like to build the cage out of some reular tubing (not al). I don't know how to braze, but I can weld all day.

Thanks
DIma

motor i would stay with a brushed motor. i have heard brushless not so good for water. and i know my scaler like water
as for tubing brake line 3/16 and 1/4 inch make sure not the coated stuff use the silver stuff. you can weld it, braze it and solder it

The SCX10 chassis kit would be a good start, I've seen a few people weld to it, you'll just have to paint it or something afterwards.

The stock scx10 kit is about 11.5 but that determined by the suspension links. You can use longer or shorter ones to set it where you need it.
