| "80's" chevy wk scaler
Well I have finally came to the conclusion that I NEEDED a scale truck to go along with my ax10 cj-5 so here it is. Its not totally 100% scale but close enough for me. Started with a Wheelie King (BAD IDEA) axial links four link front and rear servo relocate plate..... linkage was pissing me off long story... lockers f/r ckrc slipper eliminator axial wheels rc4wd rock stompers rc4wd scale shocks axial drag link and tie rod Stock electronics ....for now stock servo...... lasted seriously one minute if that! made my bumpers and got the rear mounted, working on the front mounts still. Well enough of that B.S. here are some pics. I still have to come up with a drop hitch and receiver of some sort. more to come on this project later so keep an eye on it and tell me what you think for a first attempt. This scale stuff is fun! |

In that pic of the rear it looks like a stock shock mount on the axle with the lower link mount shaved off. So what did you use for your lower link mount?
