| Slider's Junkyard dog build...
Well i decided it was time to get this scale rig to true scale looks. So i had originally wanted to go with a mountain search and rescue truck, and thats where i was going with it at first. Now its going in a totally different direction, i have decided to build a redneck type mudder/offroad truck and being from Missouri i know a few things about the way they look So what i have to work with is the X-trail chassis, hilux axles with shocks and leaf springs,Ax-10 trans, integy 35t motor, homemade skid,Ax wheels and proline dirt hawgs, these things are like ly to change when the tax's come in So enough of me talking on to the pictures.. So i decided to go with the Ford F-350 body picked it up at RPP.. Grill with the lights painted, sorry for the pics was a new camera when i took these Used some christmas lights for the headlights but have since decided to go with LEDS. Cut the windows down The dash was donated by my daughter from one of her old Barbie jeeps.. This is a picture when i was still going with the rescue theme.. Had to drop the bed, i think its a must for a scale truck.. Fenderwells cut out... Fender wells roughed in.. Fenderwells finished awaiting a little bit of bondo filler, and the toolbox/electronics box in.. Wanted to use real bed liner spray but was a little pricy so i went with Krylon stone spray, same effect and a quarter of the price.. Starting on the interior.. Door panels, used a plastic coat hanger for the arm rests... Interior almost ready for paint and a seat cover.. Finished interior shots, everything made by me except the dash, cowboy hat, and the pistol... Driver in, used a wrestler for this... I decided i was going to run this truck without a hood and use Parma's hemi engine and make it a ford motor, waiting on that from LHS, so i made some Hood hinges and a hood latch.. Radiator in progress.. |

He looks like he's taking a shit in your new seats. I like your guns, you should make a better brand chainsaw, My craftsman didn't last long. Great start, looking good. |

I think your driver is mad about that Craftsman chainsaw, get him a Sthil. Nice build the scale items are cool. |
