| Hilux Stake Body HL
Bought this truck off a member in my club about a week ago... Knew exactly what I wanted to do with it when I bought it. So far Ive relocated the batter, repainted the cab, added a rear cab piece, removed the stock bed, custom built a brass/wood flatbed, changed the tires to 2.2 hammers on Axial BLs, and shortened the bumper mount... Yeah, thats all I did. Lol. I'll be finishing the stake body sides for the flatbed tomorrow and staining all the wood planks to basically finish the rebuild. Here's a quick pic I take after I got the base coats on the cab. A lot of weathering and paint work has been done since this pic.... I'll prolly get more scale rims and tires for it soon. Look for it to be in the for sale section not too long after I finish it. More than likely wont hang on to it for long... Got some work on the stake body done today. Just need to mount the sides, add some hardware, stain the wood, and paint the brass... Side isnt mounted in last pic. Planks line up correctly. I just wanted to get an idea what it was gonna look like. Side are removable just like a real stake truck. Hopefully I can finish it this weekend. |
