| My FJ Cruiser 2.2 project
This is my first real attempt at making a scale rig. its gone through a few versions... 1.9" tires, clod body, suburban body.... but the FJ with the 2.2's is my final choice. tamiya hilux frame/axles/suspension (wheelbase narrowed about 1" to fit body) traxxas emaxx 2 speed tranny wal mart (New Brightish) body/lighting pro-line bead locks powder coated blue with Losi DT tires - no foams waterproof xl-5 ESC/ traxxas waterproof radio box with Losi 2.4 spektrum TX/RX water broke-in DeWalt drill motor hope ya like it. emaxx front bumper |

Looks good! I like the FJ body! Just a friendly tip. Move your battery up front and the electronics to the rear and it will preform a lot better. I have a FJ40 2.2 on a X-trail chassis and had the same basic set up as yours. I moved my battery to the front and it preforms so much better.

With those tires you should go with an Arctic expedition vehicle theme. Keep it up! |

yea, i noticed the truck kind sucked and rolled over backwards on hill climbs with the battery in the rear. thanks for the input! i like the arctic expedition idea. winter is almost here.....

those were the only tires i had lying around. the only 1.9's i had were stock tamiya ta-01 tires.... and they looked ridiculous. one of these days i will order up some decent 1.9's for it. any suggestions? i'd prefer a beadlock...
