Default Wrangler Unlimited on a Komodo

It'll be a while before I get to this one - a few projects ahead of it - but I'll update this thread as I go.

Yeah, it needs to be about 0.5 inches longer on each end.

>but my god that body needs to be a LOT lower!
LOL. Yeah, was just leveling it out. The key will be to see how low I can go w/out destroying the interior too much to clear the tranny.

I like it. I have the 1.9 and the 2.2. The 2.2. is my basher, and I'm saving the 1.9 for a scale build...prob a Yota (if I don't have to futz w/the wheelbase too much).

The trucks are geared HIGH out of the box, so I put a 45 turn in this one, and it could still prob use a smaller pinion. Also, before you run it, tighten EVERYTHING, run it, then tighten them again :-) The stock body is pretty frail - already crackup up after a few tumbles.

Yeah, it's a knock off, but at $300 ready-to-run for a metal truck, it's a helluva deal.

Looks like the shocks are causing a lot of the issues. Go with shorter shocks, drooped, and you should get that body down a lot closer to where it should be.

Yeah, I was thinking about that too. That may also take care of some of the wheelbase issue at the same time!
