So how's the traxxas servo performing for you so far? I've been debating getting one since it's plastic gearing...with the amount of rocks we typically run I'm afraid I'll be replacing those gears more often than a Hitec MG servo.

id say if you dont have a problem staying out of the water to stay with hitec. ive always had hitec on my rigs but i do run all traxxas waterproff servos on all three of my rigs and one of them as 2.2 roc lox and is quiet a heavy vehicle i have not had any problems with the gears i would definatly say do not use the servo saver with it my buddy does and it barley steers
as long as your sterring axle is positioned right they work great

That's the thing I've been running through water lately and the plastidip/liquid tape method is not a sure fire way to waterproof your servos. I may just need to purchase one and give it a go. I figured my honcho isn't as heavy as my AX10. I appreciate the feedback

decided to throw some shocks in the front
because after i put the shorter links in the front the axle was to sloppy and the front driveshaft would bind

I think adding leafs to the rear will definitely give it a more scale look. How did you mount the servo on the chassis? Did you use the HB CMS kit?

The winch line, how durable is it rubbing against the rocks. Just curious. I love the loock you are going for.

ive broken two whinch lines not on this truck but on my other rigs
they will last for awhile and when they break i replace it with picture frame wire

also heres a crappy pic but it shows the leds better and the inner fenders which need paint
