So I have been looking into building a scale rig. I want to copy my DD trail rig (1991 Samurai) I need to put a winch on it to make it scale to my rig. The question I have is on the RC4WD site their winch says it's not waterproof and is only rated for 2s lipo. Anybody have any experience with this unit? A scale rig would be worthless if it didn't see some water/mudholes! And I really would like to run 3s lipo since that is what I run in my comp rig. Thanks in advance for your replies. >>>------------->MaxxRunner Last edited by MaxxRunner; 11-17-2011 at 01:22 PM. |

You could use a 3Racing winch as a dummy unit and have a servo winch do the pulling. It's easy to waterproof a servo |
