Really well done. I think that is the most scale appearing rig yet!

Nice work mr. Badger sir. I really dig the bob tail (half cab) and the use of the Blackfoot stub axles to stuff the tires in the wells, great idea. Good work and great attention to detail.

I will definitely be bringing it to RCX.

Thanks for all the complements guys.

I was really surprised on how well it performed at todays comp, I took 2nd place with it. I had absolutely no run time on the rocks before the comp, and the real surprising thing is I am not going to change one thing on it. I am going to drop it off at one of my LHS's to put on display tomorrow and pick it up shortly before next month's comp to hopefully get some more locals interested in rock crawling.

I have no idea what the sprint wheels are you are referring to and yes the 64P gears are holding up great. I was just browsing Tower and found those wheels and decided to try them.

No they are actually these http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/WTI0001P?&I=LXJJ72 . They look very similar to the ones you posted though, not sure if the specs are the same.

Badger,

First off, that is spectacular. I'm not a ford guy myself but that is nothing short of awesome. I have looked at those wheels for a long time but never could figure out how to get them mounted on the axles due to the wheels 5 bolt hub design. Maybe you could show us some pics of the inside face of the wheel by the hub? I would appreciate it.

Thanks.

I am not sure what your referring to regarding a 5 bolt hub design. :? These wheels have your standard + hub for the axle pin to slide into. I had to take the dremel to the wheel hubs because there is to much plastic around the hub when you tighten down your wheel nut the hub hit's the steering knuckle and prevents the wheel from spinning freely.

Here are some pics to better explain.

You can also see in these pics that I pulled the wheels out of the black tie WAY to early.

Thanks for the pictures
I coulda swore those use the older tamiya hubs that were star shaped. I know you have seen em if you have ever bought 2.2 HPI wheels. Anyway it is irrelevant, thanks again.
