Default Dinky R/C's Ultra 4400, "The Muddauber"

Inspired by nature itself...

Makes most run in fear of being stung...

"The Muddauber"

is born...

Rig has been tested,
and shows impressive handling potential
in first and second gear.

This has been under wraps for far too long...
time to bring the pain...

Matt this thing is crazy! I love the yota inspired bed. I am assuming your running a summit trans? What motor, speed control and voltage?

Looking good Matt! I dig the bed rails too. I want to see how tall the summit trans is in there.

BTW - Ultra 4 is the name of the 1:1 stuff. I just named mine "Ultra 4400" as a play on the name of the class and the fact that they use numbers on the cars that start with 44 and are 4 digits long.

Very cool, nice and simple. A guy on the local forum built a similar looking IFS 1.9 buggy (running an Axial trans):

Size: 60.5 KB

What did you use for the front diff set-up?

Looks killer but I am wanting to see if the tranny size will over power the rest of the truck..

Looks like some of you were curious
about transmission mount...

Still leaves alot of room for some creativity in the cockpit area.
I've got some nasty ideas for it...Think bio-mechanical.
There will definitely be a hand formed skid for the tranny.
Doesn't stick out as much as it looks.

I ran the 4600 Castle motor for testing.
Speed was of course great,
crawling was out of the question.
I intend on installing a trinity Duo 5.5 motor,
backed by a Mamba Max Pro to take advantage of
the sensored/sensorless motor control profiles.
Ran it in my Jammin' SCRT10,
and it seemed to have plenty of grunt.

ESC will mount to the front of the bed area,
notice the used servo tape.
Probably running 3s,
but mat have to go 4s just to fit
twin 2s saddles next to the tranny sides.

Tires will be Pro-line 2.2 TSL's.
Sure do need some nice wheels for it though...
I think these would be nice, maybe w/orange rings?
